It is interesting how when people ask me "how are you?", I take a long time to answer to give them the best answer I can come up with.

 

Answers such as "better than yesterday" and "life has its ups and downs" when they are probably just expecting a "good".

    Generally (in my experience) when people ask: “how are you?” they are not asking about how you are; they are merely engaging in a greeting.
